You can remove a connected social account yourself in a few seconds, or ask us to delete everything Myca holds about you. What we collect is described in our Privacy Policy.
Remove a connected Instagram, LinkedIn or Substack account
If you’re a community admin who connected an account:
- Sign in and open Admin → Content → Social Connections.
- Click Disconnect on the account. This deletes its access token straight away, and nothing more can be posted to it. Click Remove to hide the account as well.
You can also revoke Myca’s access from the platform itself:
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → remove Myca Collective.
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services → remove Myca Collective.
- Substack: log out of substack.com on every device. That ends the session Myca used.
Revoking access there makes the stored token useless, so Myca can no longer post. To delete the token itself, disconnect in Myca too.
Delete your whole account
Email emma@mycacollective.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. If you’re writing from a different address, tell us the email on your account. We may ask you to confirm it’s you.
Within 30 days we delete:
- your profile and directory listing
- your application and membership details
- your event RSVPs and attendance
- your messages
- any connected social accounts and their tokens
We keep only what the law requires, such as payment and tax records. Posts already published to LinkedIn, Instagram or Substack live on those platforms, so delete them there. We’ll email you when the deletion is done.
